Andy Reid responds to Tamba Hali's Twitter firestorm

Tamba Hali has concerns with the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs.

The 33-year-old cross rusher unloaded on the team right through a Saturday firestorm on Twitter, questioning if he used to be still “wanted in KC anymore” and later critiquing teammates on a podcast for skipping prepared workforce activities.

“I’m now not going to shy from it — I Feel it can be crucial, particularly when you are on our staff and you’re certainly one of our leaders — that you must be always there,” Hali Stated on Saturday’s Arrowheads Abroad Podcast, per The Kansas City. “I Don’t want to say names, but I’ve Been there for [12 years] and I Have Not overlooked one offseason with the Chiefs.”

Hali also referenced the Patriots — Kansas Metropolis’s Week 1 foe — on Twitter, writing: “Let’s Look At the Tremendous Bowl champs. I’m positive that they had A Hundred [percent] attendance for OTAS AND OFFSEASON [WORKOUTS] this year. I [may be] fallacious.”

Hali refused to name names, but Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Superstar stated that a trio of Chiefs stars — safety Eric Berry, out of doors linebacker Justin Houston and cornerback Marcus Peters — missed all of OTAs, while out of doors linebacker Dee Ford ignored a component to the offseason periods.

On Monday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid took time to reply to Hali’s criticism, announcing: “The Truth That the man desires to get available in the market and go, absolutely but let’s not do it thru tweeting or whatever he did.”

Reid called Hali “the large brother of the crew” who “does all that stuff,” but stated the workouts are, at their core, “voluntary.”

“It Can Be something, as a coach, It Can Be out of your arms. You Need everybody here. It Is a voluntary camp,” Reid Stated. “Tamba appeared like an indignant tutor there and he does not need to go there and do all that. Once More those [guys] have in mind Tamba higher [than] anybody. Each team goes via this — there are guys there and no longer there and because of the voluntary part of that. That Is What it is and we go along with it.”

Mentioned Reid: “All three of these guys [Berry, Houston and Peters] are good players. Two are leaders and can continue to be leaders on the team. You Don’t Know [the] the explanation why they weren’t here. You Do Not Know all those things. You Need To take a look at the big image of things and notice how it works. Different guys are going to return in right here and they’re going to be superb.”

It Can Be worth noting that Hali’s Twitter rant additionally touched on his unhappiness with barely seeing the sector right through two video games last season against the Steelers, announcing: “Can any individual explain to me how I performed 58 snaps in the first recreation [against the Chargers] after we made the best comeback in Chiefs history? Staring At both Steelers [games] from [the] sideline and playing 15 and seven [snaps] in the final game … I’m nonetheless lost.”

Hali can not alternate the voluntary nature of offseason practices, however he’s free to talk his thoughts — even when it ruffles feathers in Kansas Metropolis.

The higher question revolves around Hali’s unhappiness — and future — with the crew. Both this all will get swept below the rug or takes on a life of its own when the Chiefs open camp on Thursday.
