Arizona police chief seeks help in finding gun left in restroom stall

An Arizona police chief who by accident left his provider revolver in a restroom stall inside of a library is requesting the general public’s help in retrieving the weapon.

Prescott Valley police Chief Bryan Jarrell stated he went into the restroom to alter his clothes Nov. 9 after a town corridor meeting, but left the gun at the back of after he finished dressing.

Jarrell said he didn’t notice the gun used to be missing until 4 days later. Once he realized it was once long gone, he in an instant mentioned it lacking, the lost weapon, the Arizona Republic suggested.

The handgun is described as a black, 9mm Glock 19 with the serial quantity YHC 944.

Authorities ask that any person with details about the lacking weapon contact Prescott Valley police at (928) 772-9267.

Prior To Now in Arizona, a student at Hamilton high school in Phoenix found and returned a police officer’s missing weapon that had been left in a restroom stall within the school’s library, the paper reported.
