Concussion sidelines Dale Jr.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has dropped out of Sunday’s Sprint Cup race on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway due to signs of a concussion.

Earnhardt used to be evaluated in Charlotte, North Carolina, this week and doctors did not clear him to race. Hendrick Motorsports stated on Thursday it had no timetable for his return.

NASCAR’s hottest driver, Earnhardt was all for a 22-Automobile break in Daytona Past this month. He says he was once feeling fantastic remaining week and thought the issue was once allergic reactions. When that did not lend a hand, he met with a neurologist.

Earlier this 12 months, Earnhardt pledged his brain to researchers taking a look into the connection between concussions and hectic mind accidents.
