Erdogan vows to fight ‘parallel state’

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the federal government and all its safety establishments are following “the parallel state” inside state institutions.

During a meeting with state officers on Tuesday, Erdogan mentioned the Turkish government will not hesitate to proceed cleansing state institutions from participants of the parallel state and limiting their actions, Turkey’s Anadolu Agency pronounced.

“We all of a sudden wish to rid the bureaucracy of every single member of this structure, which poses a super threat to our state. I Would Like you [district governors] to hold out cautious work in opposition to the parallel state. You May Have my reinforce. That You Would Be Able To name my
private secretary any time and provides any information You Might Have. As A Result Of, I Am for my part pursuing this battle,” Erdo?an said.

Ankara has been waging arrest campaigns against participants of the “parallel state” led by Fethullah Gulen who lives in the U.S..
