Ex-football coach Barry Bennell guilty of sex abuse

The jury was told Bennell had previously obtained three penitentiary sentences within the UK and in america after being convicted of abusing boys.

He chose to not provide any evidence or witnesses in his defence and had advised police he was suffering from cancer, which in turn had brought about memory problems.
