Four miners rescued in China after 36 days trapped underground

Hong Kong – Four miners who had been trapped underground for 36 days in a collapsed Chinese Language gypsum mine have been rescued, state media suggested Friday.

The operation to save the boys trapped greater than 200 metres underground took two hours as they had been hauled as much as the skin one at a time in a narrow tablet, according to state broadcaster CCTV.

Dramatic pictures launched by means of CCTV confirmed rescue crews applauding as the men have been brought above floor in Shandong province, eastern China.
