Kenya: Mutahi Kahiga Sworn in as Nyeri’s Fourth Governor

Mutahi Kahiga takes oath of administrative center on November Thirteen, 2017 to transform the fourth governor of Nyeri County.

Mr Mutahi Kahiga has been sworn as the fourth governor of Nyeri County to switch Dr Wahome Gakuru who died in a road crash in Murang’a last week.

Mr Kahiga, a former trainer, took the oath of place of work Monday in a vibrant ceremony attended By Using over 500 residents at the Nyeri County government workplaces.

Other leaders CURRENT included Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri and Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

Leaders from Nyeri, amongst them, County Meeting Speaker John Kaguchia, Senator Ephraim Maina and the six MPs were in attendance.

Conspicuously absent had been Kikuyu elders who never pass over important county features.
