Mexican Army Sword Tip Found at Alamo?s South Wall


Archaeologists have uncovered the tip of a Mexican sword while excavating the grounds of Alamo. The sword is believed to have belonged to a soldier within the Mexican infantry and, in keeping with lead archaeologist Nesta Anderson, the artifact dates again to 1835—which means it could had been used throughout the well-known 1836 combat. The artifact was once Found as part of the continuing “Reimagine the Alamo” undertaking that has successfully found out over 300 artifacts. The Thing can be on view on the UT-San Antonio Center for Archaeological Analysis
