Patrick Peterson: 'I would love to go up against Odell'

The NFL’s offseason doldrums are in full effect, leaving Operation Odell Overload to force the pre-coaching camp information cycle.

Taking but another potshot against nemesis Josh Norman past this week, Beckham singled out Cardinals All Professional Patrick Peterson as the most effective cornerback within the industry.

Beckham and Peterson have but to sq. off in game motion and don’t seem to be scheduled to play against each other in 2016.

In a Friday interview with Dan Hellie of NFL Complete Get Admission To, Peterson stated he hopes to face Beckham in the playoffs this season.

“I Might undoubtedly love to head up in opposition to Odell,” Peterson conceded, adding that he has relished his alternatives to cover the likes of Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, A.J. Inexperienced and Calvin Johnson.

“With Odell being rated as I imagine the No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in the (NFL Community) Prime A Hundred, I’d unquestionably like to get a shot at him.”

No player has more receiving touchdowns than Beckham since the Giants superstar entered the NFL in 2014.

May a hyper-athletic lockdown cornerback of Peterson’s caliber reach keeping him out of the end zone? We’ll have to wait until at least 2017 to search out out.
