L. A. (AP) — Patty Andrews, the ultimate survivor of the three singing Andrews sisters, has died in LA at age 94.

Andrews died Wednesday at her house in suburban Northridge of natural motives, stated domestic spokesman Alan Eichler.

Andrews Sisters hits such because the rollicking “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Firm B” and the poignant “i can Dream, Cannot I?” captured the house-front spirit of World War II.

Patty was once the Andrews in the heart, the lead singer and chief clown, whose raucous jitterbugging delighted American servicemen in another country and audiences at house. She may additionally deliver sentimental ballads like “I Will Be with You in Apple Blossom Time” with a sincerity that led to hardened GIs some distance from residence to weep.
