Six MPs from Tunisia’s Nidaa Tounes party resign

Six MPs from Tunisia’s Nidaa Tounes parliamentary party officially resigned on Tuesday. As many as twenty-two of the birthday celebration’s MPs resigned previous this month and determined to type a new parliamentary bloc underneath the name of al- Hurra.

MP Bouchra Belhaj Hamida, one of the six MP’s who resigned on Tuesday, named the other resigning MP’s as Leila Hamrouni, Mohammed al- Toroadi, Hassouna Nasfi, Alfa al- Sukkari and Sabreen Qhobntini.

“There are discussions with the al- Hurra bloc regarding its position in regards to the government, and the Ennahda Motion. We are not looking for create any other incision, and we’re not with one aspect in opposition to some other,” stated Hamida.

It Is Not but known whether or not the MPs will subscribe to al- Hurra.

Hamida introduced: “We were optimistic unless the closing minute, and we imagined that these people will put the u . s . a .’s passion above their private interests and their love for power.”

The resignations will officially take effect in five days, according to parliamentary process.

Parliament Speaker Mohammed Nasser introduced after the resignations that the Ennahda Motion has Sixty Nine seats in parliament, Nidaa Tounes has 64, Free Patriotic Union has Sixteen, Widespread Entrance has 15 and Afek Tounes and Democratic Current each have 10 seats.

MP Mohammed al-Toroadi said in a remark: “Our resignation got here in fulfilment with our national tasks in opposition to our voters as well as ethical commitments in opposition to Nidaa Tounes.”

He delivered: “Nidaa Tounes’ Current leadership is not serving its national position, and we don’t have any self belief in it.”
