South Africa: Alert – Another Storm Heading for KZN

KwaZulu-Natal residents should brace themselves for inclement Weather because the weekend kicks off following a storm warning from the South African Climate Carrier (SAWS).

In Line With SAWS, Severe thunderstorms are expected from Friday afternoon with the possibility of flash flooding.

Heavy rains would have an effect on Ugu district, eThekwini, iLembe district, King Cetshwayo district and Umkhanyakude district, the Climate Service stated.

Extreme thunderstorms with imaginable hail and powerful winds would affect north-western KwaZulu-Natal, together with uThukela district, Amajuba district, Zululand and Umzinyathi.
