Labour’s Tom Watson has known as off talks with unions aimed at resolving the stand-off on the prime of the birthday celebration.

The deputy chief stated Mr Corbyn’s statement that he would continue as chief “by some means” supposed there was “no reasonable prospect of attaining a compromise” over his future.

He mentioned there was now “little to be carried out” via retaining talks with unions.

The Unite union had been due to meet representatives of Mr Corbyn and Labour MPs in Brighton on Sunday.

Mr Watson said he had made “important growth” right through preliminary talks with union representatives previous this week.

He mentioned it was his “strong belief” that these discussions may have led to a foundation for additional talks.

“On The Other Hand, for the reason that talks started out Jeremy has publicly declared his intention to continue as chief in some way,” he introduced.

MPs and senior Labour figures have called for Mr Corbyn to resign in the wake of the ECU referendum and a movement of no self belief was once handed by way of the party’s MPs last month.

However The chief’s place of job maintained earlier this week that “there can be no resignation”.
