There are highs and there are lows to each season and but despite all of our highs, we never appear to be as pleased with them as we must be. So Regularly in our careers we lack the arrogance that we deserve.

Once I Was Once a membership swimmer, there Was a boy who Was Once Incessantly perceived as overly Confident. He Was an Olympic Trials qualifier, National report holder and a Nationals qualifier. He Was gifted to assert the least, and he never let any person disregard it.

He Used To Be not afraid to Challenge any person to a race, each time or any place. He owned the pool. It Used To Be his world and we have been just living in it. When We had been at a meet he Used To Be focused and ready to race always. He Used To Be the Michael Phelps of his own world. Used To Be he a little bit cocky? Absolutely. However his self assurance Was part of what made him a great swimmer.



When Saturday lactate practices came to visit, it’s worthwhile to Wager that we were all racing him in our best attempts to beat him, Often to no avail. The trash talking that took place all the way through these practices best made it All The extra excessive and fun.
